CommPro and PurePro
This user friendly Windows based software is designed for use in both
purebred and commercial pig operations. The purpose of this software is to
utilise the capability of on-site data entry, via the ID Logger with the PC at
the office. It has the ability to track a variety of information including:
individual birth dates, individual animal weights, actual and adjusted days to
110kg., backfat measurements, loin eye measurements.
Feed efficiency, pedigree information with EPD’s complete breeding records
history, individual animal treatments and conditions, herd and individual pen
inventory, and feed/feeder usage and inventory.
Herdsman
Herdsman is both a swine record-keeping system and a genetic evaluation
tool. The most common usage for Herdsman is the ability to track and genetically
evaluate both pure and crossbred litters. A unique feature of Herdsman is the
ability to connect nucleus, multiplier, and commercial herds together in and
across herd evaluation.
PC-LOG (PigCHAMP link)
PC-LOG is a program that links the ID Logger to the reproduction records of
PigCHAMP. Modified data, once keyed into the ID Logger, can then be
electronically transferred at the end of the work day to PigCHAMP. Such data is
combined with other daily production.
PORKS2
Designed to offer enhanced features and even more flexibility, PORKS 2
builds on the success and producer acceptance demonstrated by version 1 of PORKS.
PORKS 2 continues to set the pace of technological excellence in pork production
record keeping with a 16-bit version for Windows 3.1 and native 32-bit versions
for Windows 95 and Windows NT. Some key new features include an enhanced report
and graph generator, increased data entry efficiency, feed and medication
inventory control, support for hand-held data entry devices and integration with
leading accounting packages.
Smart Breeder
Smart Breeder, now in its 12th year, is a comprehensive breeding herd
management system that provides full genetic, health and reproductive histories
on individual sows, boars, and litters. It also integrates with other FBS
systems to perform cost analysis and profit tracking. With the latest version of
it’s Smart Breeder software, FBS has developed a software link between its
Smart Breeder swing production records system and Osborne’s hand-held
electronic ID Logger.
