 You can locate Big Wheel Feeders in
the centre of your pens, in fence lines, in concrete walls, or even outdoors. Big
Wheel Feeders use less floor space than comparable rectangular feeders and can
be secured to any surface and fitted to any fence or wall structure with our
optional Fence line Adapters. You’ll find models, options, and accessories to
handle every feeding situation. Wherever you put them, Big Wheel Feeders work
better than conventional rectangular feeders. They have large trough openings
for easy access, and the round shape gives pigs up to three times more standing
room. Your animals eat with less stress and finish faster. So you feed more pigs
in less time.
No Waste, No Adjusting, No Plugging, No Cleaning, No Equal.
 Our
exclusive Feed Rate Gauge and mechanical-flow system make flow rates easy to
set, maintain, and reset. Turning the Rate Gauge handle raises and lowers a cone
near the bottom of the Big Wheel feed hopper. The height of that cone - not
gravity - regulates the feed flow rate. As they eat, the pigs turn a large
multi-spoke feed wheel in the bottom of the feed trough. A feed sweep attached
to the feed wheel and located just inside the bottom of the hopper literally
sweeps feed past the cone and out of the hopper as pigs move the feed wheel back
and forth. No feed flows until pigs move the feed wheel. When pigs stop eating,
the feeder stops feeding. No other feeder does as much to reduce feed waste and
maintenance.

Built To Last
Big Wheel Feeders are ruggedly built with heavy steel
construction and reinforced RTM-GLAS™ fibreglass hoppers and troughs. In fact,
the very first Big Wheel Feeders Osborne manufactured two decades ago are still in
use today.
Bump Bars
Big Wheel Feeders are so solid and vibration free that we add Bump Bars to make
even finely ground or fat-filled feeds flow without bridging. As pigs move the
feed wheel, Bump Bars shake the feed to ensure first-in/first-out feed flow,
always keeping feed fresh.
