Minimise Feed Waste and Management Time
Big Wheel Feeders keep profits high by eliminating the main causes of feed
waste with practically no human intervention required. The mixing action of the
feed wheel stops pigs from sorting out and wasting feed components they don’t
like. Feeder design also limits waste by slowing or stopping the flow of feed
into the trough when pigs stop eating and start playing. Regulated feed flow and
the smooth, self-cleaning trough completely eliminate spoilage.
 Model RF2
100kg. capacity Grower-Finisher Feeder
The perfect feeder for pigs from 20kg up to market
weight. The RF2 is our most popular feeder with grower-finishers because it can
be used to feed a very broad size range. The trough and feed wheel have been
recently re-engineered to help young pigs quickly adjust to feeding themselves -
with minimal human intervention and no waste. The RF2 is designed to feed about
60 pigs all the way to market weight, and some users have successfully fed even
more early-weaners using modern feeds, without waste or reduction of gain.
Trough diameter is 31 in. (78.7cm), height 36 in. (91.4cm).
 Model RF1
170kg. capacity Finish Feeder
The RF1 is ideal for use with larger groups and size ranges of pigs. It has been
designed to feed about 60 pigs from 23kg to market weight. Some users
find that it can readily serve even more pigs. It works equally well in the
fence line and in the centre of the pen. Trough diameter is 38 in. (96.5cm),
height 40 in. (101.6cm).
 Model RF3
340kg. capacity 2-Day Finish Feeder
Like the RF1, the RF3 is built to feed at least 60 pigs from 23kg to
market weight. It uses the same 38 in. (96.5cm) diameter trough but has a larger
hopper that can hold twice as much feed. Height is 60 in. (152.4cm).
